Job Description



SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supervision of daily work for Premium Audit.

Designs, delivers and facilitates training to groups, managers, and individuals needing on-the-job training. This position is primarily focused on the training and quality needs of Premium Audit staff including, processes, procedures, workflows technologies, as well as system training. Assist Management in designing and developing training programs and preparing training materials. Conducts evaluations of training and provides follow-up coaching to trainees. Assist Management with Quality Reviews.



RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Directly supervises a team of non-exempt bargaining employees that answers customer inquiries, and processes audits for the company.
  • Assist with monthly reviews for Schedulers, Technicians and Premium Analysts. Completes the quality review and presents it to the appropriate manager to deliver to employee.
  • Provides leadership with recommendations relative to quality and training.
  • Conducts training needs analysis of groups and individuals.
  • Designs, develops and delivers training plans, modules/courses, materials and evaluations.
  • Delivers training for multiple staff positions.
  • Conducts training in a group, one-on-one or online settings.
  • Measures and evaluates training outcomes and effectiveness of training.
  • Evaluates training compliance.
  • Responsible to perform the work for internal Premium Audit teams or perform other activities to maintain or gain knowledge of current processes, procedures and systems relative to the areas of training for which they are responsible.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for leadership and department regarding audit questions and concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information provided.
  • Through training and follow up, assist in motivating Premium Audit staff.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for all trainees including systems, content and process questions.
  • Develops, delivers and continuously improves a systematic approach to new hire on the job training.
  • Develops and maintains current documentation on processes, procedures, workflows, manuals and educational updates.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new and revised policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Assists in the implementation and management of changes within the function/organization based on training evaluations.
  • Works with minimum supervision and exercises discretion and independent judgement.
  • Verify void requests.
  • Assist with setting physical/phone/mail assignment rules for individual audits and determine appropriate audit method.
  • Assist with Unit Stat. Respond to Unit Stat Inquiries, research audit to determine if changes need to be made.
  • Gather information needed for Test Audits.
  • Assist managers with various other duties as needed.

DIRECTION EXERCISED:

Directly supervises non-exempt, bargaining unit staff in accordance with company policies, the Labor agreement and applicable Federal and State Laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring proper staffing, planning, assigning and directing work; evaluating performance; mentoring staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
