Job Description


This position is responsible analysis, methodology, and coordination to more effectively identify, plan and implement department projects. This role develops and revises project materials and maintains project documentation. The role effectively communicates with project and resource managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines to improve customer service levels and overall quality.


  • Leads Microsoft Project Server activities; monitor adherence to program work plan standards, tracking of milestones and deliverables, facilitating tactical work plan maintenance, and scheduling meetings for project
  • Leads development of presentations to increase business and strengthen relationships with our internal and external customers, i.e. PowerPoint, Flash, etc.
  • Assists in enforcement of standards across the department
  • Builds and maintains work plans (MSP) identifying Critical Path based on direction from the Business, Testing, IT, vendor and Business Readiness work Lead(s).
  • Monitors track resource burn rates, KPIs and reports updates to Program and Project Managers
  • Responsible for project staffing plans including: creating and tracking FTE forecasts, coordinating cross-project staffing assignments, on-boarding new project resources and providing access to PPC and all applicable project documents, and communicating any changes to project staffing
  • Documents project risks, action Items, issues, and decisions in PPC RAID log: ensures RAID items are documented according to program processes and procedures, follows program procedures for communicating RAID items, and ensures follow-up and closure procedures for RAID items are followed
  • Assists in the change request process including: ensures proper documentation standards are followed, documents and processes submitted change requests (CRs), assists with the CR weekly review process, communicates when submitted change requests are finalized, and is responsible for completion of all items on the change request checklist
  • Supports and assists with time tracking for projects; requests new iTime projects be created
  • Supports and assists with management of project financials with direction from Program/Project Managers
  • Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with customers or partners
  • Perform other related duties as required.

    Bachelor's degree in related field required. Combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Industry certifications or progress towards preferred.


    Three years of relevant experience including experience defining, executing, implementing, and supporting projects is required. Experience within the insurance industry highly preferred.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to compose correspondence with a high degree of professionalism including punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently.
  • Excellent skills in proofreading of documents for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and presentation.
  • Understanding of office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work in very busy, and ever changing, environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Ability to complete work within specified timeframes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of all personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Moderate time management and analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to quickly understand and become familiar with topics relevant to job


    Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.
