DEPARTMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Performance Office supports the business by performing budgeting, monitoring, reporting of Strategic performance metrics to ensure financial viability using proactive analysis and sound administration of policies and procedures. The Expert Analyst will join the Performance Office team of Analysts reporting to the Managing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides financial support to the Advantasure Performance Office team via accurate monthly reporting and analysis versus forecast and budget.
  • Supports the Advantasure forecast and budgeting process by working with business leaders and finance team through analysis, projections and modeling.
  • Supports the Advantasure Business by reviewing financial analyses to support decisions.
  • Focuses on development of new processes and improvements to existing processes.
  • Conducts financial and business related analysis of expense performance.
  • Supports the Monthly Accounting Close Process.
  • Supports the Advantasure Billing Process by providing inputs such as membership and other billing data.
  • Validates and ensures controls exist to ensure Advantasure's billing to customers are complete, timely and accurate.

Job Requirements

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

Requires BS/BA degree in finance or accounting.

Preferred: CPA, CMA and or CFA , BS/BA or Master's in accounting or finance.

Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five years relevant experience, including, Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Management Reporting, Process Redesign, Problem Solving, experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning, (ERP) software application such as Oracle at a mid-size to large growth-oriented company, Medicare Advantage or Technology Solutions Industry experience a plus.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:

  • Strong human relations, analytical, problem solving, influencing and decision-making skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, process flows and internal controls.
  • Ability to organize, analyze and interpret financial and management data to solve management and business problems.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis of various problem situations and address them or refer them for appropriate decision making.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective and efficient recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate complex business or financial issues in a way that is understood by different audiences.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills required.

  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
