Job Description



SUMMARY:



This position will serve as the project lead of the MA Communication Quality program. The Communications QA Consultant performs a broad range of duties including providing guidance to contractors and employees who support the QA program.



RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:




  • Responsible for performing various quality analysis activities including, reviewing communications for accuracy, providing feedback to impacted teams and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensures communications are aligned between all internal business unit stakeholders.
  • Identify and initiate process improvement activities for development activities.
  • Performs project setup, project forecasting, project resource requests, service requests, project closeout and other duties as needed.
  • Compiles project status reports and assists PM with project administrative tasks.
  • Coordinates project and resource schedules as directed by the PM.
  • Identifies and resolves technical project management systems problems and tracks open issues with IT support team.
  • Interacts with Service Delivery Managers, and works closely with and takes direction from multiple PMs.
  • Perform business process consulting to assist in the formulation of policies, procedures and controls in the design phase of a process, system or activity.
  • Consult with management and business units regarding business process optimization, profit improvement, internal controls and compliance and as such develop a strong cross-functional skill set.
  • Consult and educate management on issues relating to audit findings or recommendations.
  • Research and recommend procedures to improve effectiveness of the audit function.
  • Provide guidance to contractors and employees who support the QA program.

    EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:





    EDUCATION:



    Bachelor's degree in a related field. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.



    EXPERIENCE:



    Five years experience in a related field. Leadership and/or analytical experience with data, systems, and operations. Project management experience preferred.



    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:




  • Significant creativity.
  • Ability to work under general direction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Advantage communication development activities, workflow tools and CMS guidance for development activities.
  • Ability to identify issues, develop corrective action plans, track and monitor performance, provide constructive feedback and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and quality as well as thoroughness.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Pro, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Analytical, problem solver, independent, self-starter.
  • Highly organized; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with all levels of management and interacting with end customers.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience with reviewing, drafting, and editing communications subject to audit review.



    WORKING CONDITIONS:



    Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. Occasional travel is required.
