Job Description


Primarily responsible for serving on a team of professionals dedicated to leading and managing significant, strategic, corporate Digital Experience projects for the Enterprise. Provides business analysis and project management expertise, methodology, and coordination to more effectively identify, plan and implement projects in the Microsoft Office 365 platform. This role will be responsible for both Project Management and Business Analysis for the Office 365 platform initiatives. Where necessary they will work in collaboration with other team Business Analysts for insurance SME. This position involves direct coordination with other team members, departments, business partners and outside vendors on project management.


  • Directly manages the core Microsoft Office 365 projects that lead to the implementation of the strategic investment in the Office 365 suite.
  • Plan, organize and direct the implementation of Office 365 and SharePoint platform in accordance with strategic business plans on multiple large projects.
  • Interface with customers to provide issue resolution for products and processes.
  • Responsible for helping develop project or program cost benefit analysis with a focus on digital workplace leading to measurable employee productivity benefits.
  • Develops complex solutions using standard Office 365 and SharePoint features, third party tools, or client-side development languages.
  • Proposing solutions for business ideas, suggestions, problems and requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive requirement specifications as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to define functional and non-functional requirements that Business Analysts and Developers will use to change new or currently deployed solutions.
  • Defines all levels of business and technology requirements.
  • Collaborates with Finance and Actuarial Services to build a Benefit Realization plan.
  • Plays a key role in the Office 365 master tenant configuration and tenant wide support and governance process.
  • As part of the overall Office 365 program, manages implementation within the holistic program plan and schedule to align with other program priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects implemented on Microsoft Office 365 platform that includes but not limited to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Office 2016.
  • Solves Tier 2 & 3 user problems in a timely, efficient and friendly way while documenting the solutions.
  • Manages the project through team collaboration and weekly core team meetings.
  • Collaborate with QA team to ensure traceability between defined test cases and elicited testing.
  • Collaborate with Development team to ensure effective hand-off of requirements and identification of requirements defects.
  • Publishes weekly status reports and updates the project dashboard on a periodic basis.
  • Presents the project updates as necessary to the executive team.
  • Prepares communication strategies that are clear, concise, and timely.
  • Turns troubled projects of any size and complexity around.
  • Helps hire or place project managers onto specific projects for the enterprise.
  • Makes continuous improvement a priority.Ability to apply advanced project management and business analysis principles.
  • Adopts agile project management methodology and risk-based approach to implement projects.
  • Develops and maintains relevant procedures and directions. This includes, but is not limited to handbooks, manuals, tools, and templates.
