Job Description


Responsible for directing and coordinating all group and association marketing activities, both directly and through the agency force. Maintains and develops existing group portfolio. Participates in the development of new product opportunities.


  • Develops and manages existing and new group association business.
  • Reviews current Accident Fund book of business, including associations, for prospects and develops cross-marketing and new product development opportunities.
  • Monitors competitors' book of group and association business to assess potential and increase new business success.
  • Work with agencies to maintain relationships that could benefit the group and association book.
  • Analyzes new groups for viability and profitability and establishes goals for each group.
  • Evaluates current programs to determine if goals are being attained. Reports to sponsoring groups and associations on progress to goals and makes recommendation for those groups failing to meet.
  • Manages group contracts which includes, but is not limited to development, maintenance, review and modification.
  • Establishes dividend accruals and payments for group and association programs.
  • Coordinates activity of multi functional business units in the promotion and servicing of group business.
  • Develops, implements and manages new business opportunities and strategic business partnerships.
  • Develops and coordinates various business program opportunities with multi functional business units and other Accident Fund Company resources.
  • Develops and manages reporting methodologies within Business Development and other Accident Fund Company structures.
  • Manages relationship between agency force and the Company.
  • Participates in development of annual budget, goals, objectives and systems.
  • Participates as necessary on special committees and task forces.
  • Represents company at trade associations and exhibits to promote corporate product.
  • Prepares reports and data on business portfolios as required.
  • Performs other marketing-related duties as assigned.
  • Works with minimum supervision.
