Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of insurance operations software including billing and collection solutions, assisting with business requirements, refining exisitng and future business processes and a variety of other accounting related functions.



RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Develop optimization strategies for finance processes and systems.
  • Utilize multiple system platforms to automate and support processes, expand reporting and analysis capabilities and explore new system technology.
  • Analyze data processing, documentation, workflows and reporting systems to identify possible solutions for achieving greater productivity in financial operations and reporting.
  • Assist in defining system requirements, priorities, and recommends viable alternatives.
  • Assist in coordinating the efforts of internal and external team members to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain applications.
  • Support ad-hoc vs. standard management reporting process to help determine when repetitive ad-hoc requests should be included as standard reporting.
  • Perform testing of systems development and reports.
  • Examine reports to locate and resolve errors.
  • Assemble and analyze data for business reports, make sure data and calculations are accurate.
  • Other related duties as assigned
